Creative evangelism

The problem
The problem with a lot of evangelism is that it has more of a 'hit and run' character. It is not so much relationship-oriented. Often the person that needs to be reached isn't taken into account. People just 'drop the Gospel' whether one likes it or not. The needs, questions, objections of the other one aren't addressed and often not even known.
Besides that, evangelism often is just 'telling & explaining what we believe' in a general, predefined, simple way that is rather clichelike, then inspiring and making people curious.

A different approach
Therefore we need a different approach. In the first place we should not 'bring the Gospel to the people'. We should bring Johnny (who is the specific person we have contact with) to the Gospel (or better: to Jesus). This is a completely opposite way of communicating, because one starts with the person one wants to reach and not with the message one wants to bring.
We need to be creative in the ways we try to reach people to prevent that they are bored and don't want to talk to us.
